Kate Baker is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Education (M.Ed.) and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in Mental Health Counseling. With over seven years experience, Kate provides treatment in the following areas: ADHD, behavioral issues, trauma, post abortion trauma, chronic/terminal illness, grief, anxiety, depression, military family issues, adoption/attachment issues, and parenting issues. Kate uses techniques from Theraplay, Play therapy, Sandtray, CBT, and Progressive Counting. She accepts clients ages 3 through 65. Kate is on the referral list for the Catholic Archdiocese of Providence.
Kate accepts the following insurances: Rhode Island Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Behavioral Health, Tufts, Neighborhood Health Plan, Harvard Pilgrim.
